Dawood - Reducing sibling-directed aggression by children with autism spectrum disorder

This study aims to teach caregivers and siblings how to identify and respond to precursors to challenging behavior and to teach

functional communication to children with ASD with fidelity.

Participation requirements for my study:

• One child has an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) and engages in aggression toward their sibling during play.

• The aggression does not cause serious injury (e.g., bleeding, bruising, or welts).

• The sibling can understand and follow basic instructions and does not engage in aggression toward the child with IDD.
