Requirements:

  • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis

  • Ages 5-17

  • Currently in school or attends an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic

  • Able to state ongoing actions

  • Able to label locations and activities

  • Able to answer various single-response questions or statements (e.g., "What's your name?", "What color is the car?", etc)

  • Little to no challenging behavior transitioning across various activities (non-preferred activities will not be used in the study)

The purpose of the current study is to evaluate three different instructional methods to help teach learners English and Spanish at the same time.


We are looking for participants who:

  • Are at least three years old (but no age limit!)

  • Are exposed to both English and Spanish at home

  • Can repeat words

  • Have limited to no challenging behavior

The purpose of this study is to teach participants how to set personal health goals with the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) Framework while integrating self-management strategies to support behaviors that will help you meet your goals.


We are looking for participants who:

- Are 18 years old or older

- Have goals relating to their health

- Are willing to participate in a 2-3 hour session either in person or via Zoom

- Have not had prior training with the SMART-Goal Framework
