The aim of this study is to develop effective autism education for first responders. The training will include:
Autism and crisis resources
How to recognize autism
How to de-escalate autistic people in crisis
Common emergencies faced by autistic people
Participation requirements:
Must currently work in a first responder role in Texas (i.e., Police, Firefighter, EMS, Paramedic).

This study aims to teach caregivers and siblings how to identify and respond to precursors to challenging behavior and to teach
functional communication to children with ASD with fidelity.
Participation requirements for my study:
One child has an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) and engages in aggression toward their sibling during play.
The aggression does not cause serious injury (e.g., bleeding, bruising, or welts).
The sibling can understand and follow basic instructions and does not engage in aggression toward the child with IDD.

This study seeks to teach adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities how to appropriately respond to e-mails that require a response and e-mails that do not.
Requirements to participate:
18 years or older
Neurodevelopmental diagnosis (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)
Must have access to and check e-mail once a week
Must know how to write an e-mail
