The aim of this study is to develop effective autism education for first responders. The training will include:
Autism and crisis resources
How to recognize autism
How to de-escalate autistic people in crisis
Common emergencies faced by autistic people
Participation requirements:
Must currently work in a first responder role in Texas (i.e., Police, Firefighter, EMS, Paramedic).
